Pferd Inc. launched a series of 100 percent stainless steel power brushes designated Inox-Total. All components of the brush are produced from 302 stainless steel, making them suitable for environments highly sensitive to contamination, such as the nuclear power and pharmaceutical industries. The brushes are available in a 2-in. stem-mounted crimped wheel, 2-in. stem-mounted knot wheel and 2.75-in. stem-mounted crimped bevel styles for all collet-equipped machines as well as in a CombiTwist unthreaded knot wheel for use on handheld angle grinders.

It includes Finishing Copilot software that generates a complete sanding trajectory with a handful of waypoints, a pneumatic orbital tool connected to a bracket designed for UR and all connection accessories. “Processing tasks such as sanding and polishing are not what cobots have been traditionally known for,” said Stuart Shepherd, regional sales director of UR’s Americas region. “But by being able to easily add new advanced capabilities such as a UR+ certified sanding kit, this helps open up a whole new frontier for us.”
