Weiler Abrasives Expands Small Cutting Wheels
Weiler Abrasives Group expanded its small-diameter cutting and snagging wheels for high-speed die grinders. Tiger AO wheels feature an aluminum oxide grain and provide even, sharp, clean cuts and a hard bond to extend wheel life when cutting steel. Tiger Zirc wheels feature sharp, aggressive zirconia alumina grains that retain a high cut rate throughout the life of the wheel. For maximum cutting performance on hardto-grind metals, Tiger Ceramic wheels provide self-sharpening grains that reduce discoloration by cutting at lower temperatures with less friction.

Metabo Releases High-torque Dry Polishers
Metabo Corp. announced two variable-speed, high-torque dry polishers, the PE 15-20 RT and PE 15-30. The planetary gearing in these new models allows for a more powerful and efficient tool. Also, both have a wide variable-speed range to tackle a variety of materials at different hardness. A key target market for PE 15-20 RT is the automotive and paint finishing market. Because of its speed range, the PE 15- 30 can be used for stainless steel polishing.
Rex-cut Offers Aluminum Grinding Wheels
Rex-Cut Abrasives presents Aluminator T27 cotton fiber grinding wheels for aluminum. The wheels naturally break down as heat is generated, resulting in constant sharp grit being exposed. This eliminates loading, downtime, and the need for wax or grinding aids. The wheels offer increased grinding action, improved surface finishing, smooth operator control and long life. Less noise and vibration and safer operating conditions are additional benefits. The wheels are available in 4.5 in., 5 in. and 7 in. diameters in 36 grit.
